Our team has assisted Puerto Rico & US Virgin Island Government and Municipallities to successfully obtain FEMA Fundings. Provide Project Management and Construction Management Support for the reconstruction of the communities after the disaster hits.
The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requires federal agencies to evaluate the environmental impacts of their proposed actions before making decisions. This includes actions such as issuing permits, adopting land‑management plans, or constructing federally funded facilities while meeting FEMA and EHP branch requirements.
At LRV, we consider the environment in all that we do. We actively seek to integrate sustainability throughout the life-cycle of a project to ensure that development, materials, design and construction preserve and enhance the environment while in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
San Juan, Puerto Rico (March 1, 2022) — The year 2017 is one Puerto Ricans will not soon forget. During an exceptionally active hurricane season, the island was struck within a single month by two major storms—one Category 5 and one Category 4. The combination of powerful winds and the island’s mountainous terrain intensified wind tunnels, increased rainfall, triggered flash flooding, and left widespread devastation across Puerto Rico.
